Biography

Dr. Julian Safir's seminars and published articles have focused on breast MRI for cancer detection and staging.

Dr. Safir began performing and interpreting breast MRI fifteen years ago. In that time, he has completed one of the largest bodies of case experience in the country. Dr. Safir routinely interprets twenty to twenty-five breast MRI scans a day for patients from all over New York, and he has been at the forefront in refining the techniques of MRI guided breast biopsy. Because of his unparalleled experience and expertise, Dr. Safir is widely considered a leader in his specialty.
