Biography:

Dr. David Ebling started as a computer scientist graduating with highest honors from Purdue University in 1989. He proceeded to medical school at Case Western Reserve University. He completed his radiation oncology residency at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1997. He spent five years as a junior faculty member at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. While at Hackensack, he specialized in head and neck radiation oncology and GYN oncology. This included an active HDR brachytherapy division in the treatment of GYN malignancies. He came to NRAD in November 2002. Since joining the group he has been instrumental in the development of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) for NRAD. Recently he has helped start the Leipzig Applicator program for skin cancer and the MammoSite and Contura program for breast cancers. Current projects include 4D treatment planning, Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Rapid ARC treatment, and body radiosurgery for select lung and liver tumors.
