Howard C. Williams, M.D.
Dr. Howard Williams is a Board Certified
physician in Diagnostic Radiology whose specialty is diagnostic radiology,
particularly body computerized tomography (CT) and ultrasound.
After receiving his B.A. at Harvard
University in Cambridge, MA, Dr. Williams received his M.D. from the NY
University School of Medicine in New York. He did his residency in
Diagnostic Radiology at the Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT where
he also completed his post-graduate Fellowship in Computed Tomography and
Ultrasound.
Dr. Williams has held the positions of
Clinical Instructor of Diagnostic Radiology at Yale New Haven Hospital as
well as Section Head of CT and Ultrasound at the Nassau County Medical
Center in East Meadow, NY. Additionally, he was the Associate Director of
Diagnostic Imaging and Section Head of Ultrasound at the Good Samaritan
Hospital in West Islip, NY and Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at
the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He entered
private practice in 1988.
Dr. Williams is a member of The American
College of Radiology, The Radiological Society of North America, the Medical
Society of the State of New York and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Williams' published writings and lectures
have focused on the imaging of congenital anomalies, CT and ultrasound
guided needle biopsy and obstetrical sonography.
